I do like how they chose to pursue some of the more "human" aspects of Spock but the lightswitch rage was a bit much. 2) I agree about Karl Urban. He was spot on as McCoy...best out of all of the actors at nailing the character. I am glad to see Urban get a non-action-y role as I think he's actually quite talented. 3) I liked Pine as Kirk. He did fine in keeping the spirit of Kirk in this endeavor while making sure not to try and be Shatner's version. 4) MORE SCOTTY in the sequel please (due out in 2011) 5) Loved the special effects, action, etc. 6) Wish they had shown more Nero/developed that a bit more. If you haven't, check out the comic mini-series Star Trek: Countdown which goes into detail the backstory of Nero and Spock.
